Windows Tablets more desirable than iPads?

SlashGear is reporting that a Boston Study Group claims that despite what sales indicate, US consumers are more interested in having Windows powered tablets, rather than iOS iPads or Android tablets.

How much? 42% apparently. iPads is quite far behind at 27% and Android even more so at 20%.

Whilst the sample size critically isn’t mentioned, SlashGear points out that this correlates with a Forrester which also revealed Microsoft’s Windows platform to be the more preferred choice.

Windows 8 is set to be ready in 2012. With a Metro look, millions will be accustomed to this new UI paradigm. This will inevitably positively impact Windows Phone.
