Your ears are saved! Nokia Dubstep tune just an option. Classic Grand Vals to stay.

Yesterday, we heard the new Nokia tune. It was a dubstep remix. You guys voted on whether you liked it or not. With over 1000 votes, that’s a decent enough sample size of some Nokia fans, no? 78.85% don’t like it. Possibly that number would be even higher if the question was, “would you use it as a ringtone”.

The votes and comments were pretty clear. We weren’t fans. It might have done well in a different setting, but NOT as a ringtone as intended by the competition. How this won, based on that panel, I don’t know.

But good news everyone.

According to Nokia, the new dubstep version will be an option. The classic Grand Vals will still be there, and not completely replaced.

it was never intended to replace the much-loved, original Nokia Tune. It will simply be one option among many preloaded sounds on future Nokia phones.

BTW, again here is the official N9 remix (grand vals, plain) also on Belle: Nokia Tune. BTW  more N9/Belle tones at: http://mynokiablog.com/2011/10/04/download-nokia-n9-ringtone-and-tones-for-calendar-email-alarm-etc/
