GSM Arena’s Nokia 701 Review

Back in early September, we saw GSM Arena’s early preview of the new Nokia 701 where they called Belle almost revolutionary. A month onwards and here’s their full review of the Nokia 701.

  • Typical good build quality from Nokia with mostly metal shell
  • Ultra bright screen, brightest they’ve ever seen not counting E6 (though Nokia’s own numbers suggest 701 is still brighter)
  • Unlike before though, they note that this retail unit doesn’t have blacks as deep as before. Single faulty unit?
  • Sensitivity as good as expected from capacitive (helps to have much more dynamic looking UI too no? :p)
Right, I’ll update this again later, I’ve only come to page 2 of their review, have a PBL meeting right now. Ha.

Cheers Damian for the tip.
