Phone Arena’s Nokia N9 review (+Video)

| October 25, 2011 | 10 Replies

Hi guys, very quickly this is Phone Arena’s Nokia N9 review. There is a text version and a video below.

Just rushing out at the moment so I can’t do the usual summary. It’s in four parts and just skimming through it, it looks like yet another positive review for the N9.

Cheers AmmAR for the tip!

What did they do with the N9 screen, looks pale. PA will never like nokia. SABOTAGE!
BTW i want to ask everyone here, WHO USES more than 10 APPS at the same time.
It irritates me to keep unused apps open for no reason.

“WHO USES more than 10 APPS at the same time.”
    It’s called ‘The Android Effect’…
    I hate it too :-\

Every now and then I find that there is more than a “windowful” of apps open and I immediately start to close those I have “forgotten”. Because of the easy way of opening the apps again and again you do not need to keep them opened.
The only thing I am (very) sorry about is the battery life. It ended today and I only used it actively for three hours in the rain (a bad networ, but anyway) and just normal use for a few hours and it ended before I got to the home train. So: I woke up at 5.30, opened my N9, took a taxi to the railwaystation and jumped in to the train. Surfed and tried to download the Fennec during the three hours 15 minutes train trip to Jyväskylä. Went to court for a few hours Phone closed) had a lunchbrake (some facebook updating, e-mails and one call), went back to court for three more hours and when after that I opened my N9 it announced about the low battery level and when I got to the train and it took off somewhere 16.20, the battery ran out after about half an hour trip.

i got it also. its a great phone.

it has many of the apps i like to use.

it seems like support and app release will continue for it. i really hope they continue with the OS. i dont care much for Windows except for the desktop.

After watching the video preview, i would expect rating 8/10 or even 8.5/10, but actually it’s only 7/10. I guess it is 1 or 1.5 points down just because of “no future”.
