its rather nice especially yellow
Im sure the WP7 fans are pleased with this and the 800
this is much nice than 800 and display is better
Depends, for web browsing, yeah, battery life on the 710 will likely be better. Using mostly white with TFT and the anti-glare means sunlight performance will also be good.
I like the yellow too. This should sell as well as the 5800 at that price point.
Does the 710 have front facing camera? why doesnt the 800 have ffc?
It seems neither do. Don’t know why the 800 doesn’t have it given the price and that the N9 has it.
Yellow looks ugly to me. The red one looks SWEET!!
That’s the beauty of exchangeable back plates – you get to pick what you like.
Its just all too difficult to get excited about this phone, unfortunately.
Not bad, but still the 701 a better choice IMO
If the 701 were running S40 instead of Symbian I might agree.

change the name
of both wp7 devices (lumia is so boring)
and asha would also sound uncool in india
to where the lineup is targeted

The 710 is definitely the sleeper hit, I think it will do better than the 800 I am slightly perplexed though why its not coming to the UK though.

It never was explicit at not coming to UK. Said HK, Taiwan, Russia etc in Nov more markets seen first half 2012.
“More markets” is probably Europe and the USA.
Probably so people in the UK buy the higher priced device before offering a cheaper alternative that is relatively identical specs wise

Holy @#%+ i didn’t notice that… But at this stage I don’t know who are under who, MS depend on the Nokia brand to avoid another failure, and Nokia “need” a new fresh OS and cut down cost if software R&D
