Videos: Nokia Lumia 800 Sunlight/Outdoor visibility

This was one of the things you asked us to try out. During Nokia World event days, it was pretty cloudy and even raining on the second day so I couldn’t really test the screen outdoors.

On the Friday we were filming some 800 videos (for Nokia YouTube) it was wonderfully sunny. And we got even closer to the sun by jumping on the London Eye.

As you can see by the reflection blob of the sun, it was an extremely sunny day. You can even see in the video us pointing at the sun directly above. I couldn’t see it so much on N8’s screen but the 800 was perfectly visible. It’s particularly useful when using the viewfinder as your subject does not disappear and vanish from having an inferior display. BTW image above is a screenshot from video (produced by N8). We’ll be sharing some more videos from Nokia World recorded by that (it was such a trooper. I am blown away AGAIN by the quality of the video it produced, audio too)

Since most of my media is on my mac and I put all my content there (and now unable to transfer back to the card) I had to use it to process my video. I thought I might as well give one of the themed video editing things a go. I won’t make another one like this, promise. Will just upload directly, and shrink if possible (As our virginmedia upload speed is so dire).

Oh, currently uploading unedited version. It shows it off better.
