The swishy witchcraft like Swype keyboard has been updated to v2.1, and you can get your hands on it at Nokia Beta Labs.

This has support for Symbian Belle and will be the last release at Beta Labs before heading out and graduating to the Nokia Store.

Updates from Swype

Thanks to all of your feedback, we’re happy to release an update of Swype for Symbian. Over the last 8 weeks we’ve addressed all of the critical issues raised on Beta. We’ve also made some key improvements that should make the whole experience from download, to install, to uninstall much more enjoyable.

This will be our last release to Beta before graduating to the Ovi store, so test it out and let us know what you think about Swype 2.1 for Symbian.

Here’s a summary of the features and major changes in this new version:

  • Complete overhaul to the install / uninstall experience. Install to C:, SD Card, Mass Memory, etc, without a problem. (We still recommend you install to C)
  • Critical Settings crash has been fixed
  • Official Belle support
  • Thai and Vietnamese language support
  • Many small bug fixes thanks to our Beta testers

Thanks Bolesław for the tip!
