Apparently, Nokia Music Unlimited has been launched for S40 phones. The service will be bundled with the phones allowing an all you can eat bonanza on 6 million DRM free tracks.

Renewal subscription are available in 3, 6 or 12 month options with just a 1-click activation.

Nokia has apparently partnered with labels and aggregators, including Venus, T-Series, EMI, Music Today, INRECO, Saregama, Times Music, Universal, Hungama Mobile etc.

This will start first with the new Nokia Asha phones. Despite some only being 2G, the download speed was apparently remarkable due to the highly compressed M4A EAC+ format turning a 4mb song (usually 3-7mb MP3 depending on bitrate) to 1mb. (303 has WiFi, 300 has 3G, 200 has 2G)

Finally, you apparently won’t need any log-ins as the handset is identified by the IMEI.
