Paid apps now in Philippines, operator billing to follow.

Neil reports that Paid Apps can now be purchased in the Philippines. However he notes that the it’s currently not in the local Peso but in Euro so you might have to pencil in the higher prices (and possible conversion charge if there is one).

Later in the post, there’s talk of operator billing eventually coming too. That’ll make it easier for everyone to purchase apps as it will just go through your call credit. Possibly by then, the currency would switch to local (PHP)

It’s all fun and good having free apps, but sometimes there’s good apps you’ve got to pay for.
