My Dream Nokia #36: Nokia Lumia 810 12MP shooter concept (+Video promo)

| December 3, 2011 | 21 Replies

Hey folks, this is My Dream Nokia #36 Dreamt up by RaifZKL. As with the MDN – this is to the specifications for what the designer wants for themselves, not necessarily something pushing the specs boundry all the time.

The design is still Lumia 800 like, though it is edging more to the iPod Nano design that Eldar first compared the N9 to. Whilst still slim, this sports a 12mp camera and flash at the back.

The hard keys can be pushed, but interestingly they’re ALSO touch sensitive so you get some tactile feedback if you wish.

Here’s the full specifications they’re interested in:

  • 12mp camera with 720p HD video recording
  • 1.5ghz dual processor
  • 3.7″ amoled display
  • 64gb mass memory
  • windows phone 7.5 mango
  • and classic windows phone keys (hard keys also touch sensitive (multi-touch) surface like macbookpro’s :D
  • for instance you can zoom in camera with swiping from middle to search key   or zoom out swiping to back key.
  • still there is no front face camera because i dont use it :D

Here’s a video promo:

About “My Dream Nokia”

I’m sure you’ve dreamt up your PERFECT Nokia device/UI. What it would look like, what it would feel like, what features it would have. Why don’t you share it with the world? Or at least with other Nokia fans :D .

It could be your own photoshopped or rendered work (seriously, you don’t need mega skills in either, basic paint job is often enough to convey a concept) of your dream product.

SEND this in similarly to tips@mynokiablog.com with the title “My Dream Nokia” and perhaps the model number (and a little description, maybe a few specs in the message area? Though this bit not necessary).

Who knows, maybe an image might flutter over to Nokia and through whatever route end up being real.

Nice try but this sorta ruins the Lumia 800′s design. N9/800′s design is bordering on perfection. They were designed by God himself. And you’ve got to play with one yourself to appreciate the perfection. Hopefully Nokia will find out a way (although that seems unlikely) to improve the design in their future products.

12MP with such a small lens? Seriously? :D

  3. Sun Down says:

Uuugghh. Jay, I prefer if it actually sticks with the main color spectrum. What happen to green lately? RGB anyone? Red/Green/Blue? :(

  4. kan says:

    Looks decent.

    Good effort some points.

    1) The positioning of the camera on the back seems wrong.

    2) How about rounding the edges but then squaring the edges on the screen.

    3) The 3 buttons are too near the bottom edge. look at the Lumia 800 again the buttons are placed higher and for good reason it;s a better user experience.

    4) Model numbers should not be on the front of the phone.

  5. doraemon22 says:

    how much price huh?

  6. #@! says:

    I like it!…but the camera,Uh…

  7. Mi Mo X says:

Nice design, nice presentation but you should exaggerate your dreams, this is too realistic… :)

  8. Anjanu Sonkar says:

why do people at Nokia make these concept Phones when Samsung and LG are making Real Ones

  9. Seylan says:

Am I the only one who thinks these Nokia concepts suck!??
They just bad photoshops..That camera sensor looks ugly.
Why don’t these “designers” make something original??!

  10. Mushfiq says:

They r not designers u idiot . They r jus common people like us wit some know knowledge of photoshop

  11. hoi says:

Love the specs, but the design reminds me of the Ipod Nano 4G

  12. mojo says:

That yellow… very, well balanced. As for the rest. Nah. Plus, couldn’t stand all the people who would bitch constantly about how it would be an iPod nano rip off.

That said, Nokia should do a “N9″ WP version. Just use the same style of soft menus used in the aka.ws/wpdemo. That and swipe-in menus. How nice wouldn’t that be?

  13. Kembıl says:

    I like this Nokia…I want it… =)

  14. Michael Faro-Tusino says:

I like the advert style. If Nokia did something like this (replacing the screenshots in the phone for demos of features) I think it will be an awesome ad, that would produce some results

  15. doraemon22 says:

i am a bit suprised. why the phone was very thin when it usually hardware for phones with cameras are big like 12 mp requires hardware that is quie large as well, right?

  16. Shivani says:

12mp with xenon flashlight… the 1.3mp secondary camera for video calling… and flash player support in the browser are the only three things keeping me from buying the Lumia 800…it will be a downgrade.. if you add these to your phone i wont think even once before switching… :D and ya a digital shutter cover will be a nice touch :D
