New Nokia Flagship Store in Hong Kong – (All WP waiting until 1st half 2012 for China, that’s when Nokia steps in)

According to Engadget China, Nokia are going to launch a new flagship store in Hong Kong. What with Nokia having closed flagship stores in the US and UK, it’s nice to see these shops springing back up. (It’s a shame the stores had closed since now we actually have some decent, playable fun stuff in the Belle handsets, Lumias and N9s).

As far as we know, Lumias are coming to China in Spring 2012. In the video below, Elop says first half of 2012 – so pretty much the same thing.

In similar China WP related news, it appears Nokia might get a leg up as MS are going to delay the launch of WP in China, also to the first half of 2012. This means the general first experience with WP should be Nokia Lumias (along with Lenovo, Huawei and ZTE). Given the right push, I think Nokia can persuade buyers that it’s the Nokia they must go for.

Expectations? There needs to be both a very high end device and a more value phone, more so than the 710. By then both 710 and 800 should have dropped in price.
