Video: Xbox Companion app for Nokia Lumia (Windows Phone)

Windows Phone tweeted that there’s an Xbox Companion app so you can control the Xbox from your Nokia Lumia 800/710 (and other WP).

I can’t click on the link to get it and it’s not yet appearing in my marketplace. Perhaps staggered availability? I only just got the Dashboard update today that some people had yesterday (which I’m really digging).

Discover great entertainment with the power and convenience of your Windows Phone! Search for your favorite movies, TV shows, music, and games, and play them on your Xbox from your phone. Xbox 360 console and Xbox LIVE membership required.

Connect your Windows Phone directly to your Xbox with the Xbox LIVE Companion app! Use your phone to search Xbox LIVE for the movies, TV shows, music, and games you want. With the Xbox LIVE Companion app, you can use your Windows Phone to get more details on the content you’re currently watching or even play and control videos and music on your Xbox.

Ecosystems and tight integration doesn’t seem to bad here. Think further how this will expand to Windows 8…
