Video: Behind the Amazing Calls Campaign – Nokia France

A month ago I came across an advert which I thought was just for the Nokia Lumia 800 – it was called “The Amazing Call” and I thought it was a wonderful breath of fresh air for a Nokia advert (given what we’ve seen the past few years) it was edgy, cool, funny and makes you want the phone in that sort of animalistic primal sort of way that everyone is after this amazing thing.

I think a commenter tried to explain at the time that it was actually for a promo for something else. This video below explains that the Amazing Calls was just that, a competition waiting for someone to pick up an amazing call. First one who does it gets a prize. Pretty good advert if it was just that. Shame something like this isn’t airing on TV. That song, Sail, seems to be on the radio all the time now though.

I’m finding it a little odd though that they have a fake video call going on in the Lumia.
