Paul Thurott of Winsupersite spilled some beans yesterday regarding Nokia’s USA LTE plans.
He seems to have been in the know but kept quiet until other sites started sharing MS’s plans for Windows Phone and LTE in 2012 (those ‘leaked roadmap?’.
His information right now relates only to US market, plans which will be revealed at CES.
- A number of LTE devices coming next 6 months to AT&T
- Nokia Ace will ship on AT&T, due March 18, 2012.
- Unsure whether Ace will have Tango.
- Nokia Lumia 710, codename “sword” coming in April 2012 to Verizon. T-Mobile version of 710 available January 11, 2012 – T-mobile with 3 month exclusivity before then hitting Verizon.
