Video: Nokia? Japanese Company? CES interview.

Here’s an interesting video, not so much the content but you can see the perception of what Nokia is to the American market. It’s unknown. The guy interviewing Vance Kim (Nokia Marketing Campain Manager), said he thought Nokia was Japanese and expressed surprise of it coming from Finland. (lol, next question, What’s a Finland?). Is he making a Transformers reference or is he just genuinely unaware?  Thankfully, Vance explaiened Nokia HQ is in Finland and they have offices pretty much everywhere.

This pretty much is the market Nokia’s got to break back into (and more so, this is a tech show, for techy people. What more for the average NON-TECHY American?? Tech people should at least be aware of where these main companies are from or am I asking too much? Or is it because, as mentioned, Nokia is pretty much a non entity in the US?)
