Nokia Lumia 710 Free with qualifying plan at Microsoft Store, Virginia
Simo sent in this image he took at a Microsoft Store in McLean, Virginia (Washington DC suburb). You can see the Nokia Lumia 710 is available there for free with a qualifying plan.
I’m not sure what that plan is. In the UK, free phones on contracts are common place (even for new phones), but the plan normally goes up. Contracts aren’t for everyone but they make sense for folks who use up a lot of calls/txt/data or just prefer to have the price of the phone subsidized by more manageable monthly payments.

It’d likely be a minimum $XX.xx/month plan, which is likely the cheapest plan available. No extra bonuses or a shorter term for going higher.
Yeah, in Australia most phones are included ‘free’ as part of the contract (including iPhones etc). Find it odd the US still has an upfront purchase price.
Agreed. Got my N8 free on an “Infinite” plan which was only 45/month which is the best way to manage a monthly spend for me.
Plan gives unlimited calls, unlimited txts and 1gb data

No, this is pretty standard.
