I was about to look for a new theme on Nokia Store for N8/Symbian when on the featured apps page they have an interesting app that will allow you to have MeeGo/N9 (pr1.2) style folders where you get thumbnails of the contents.

The app is called Thumbnail Folders and costs £1 at Nokia Store.

Normal Folders, blank

Folder Contents

Update folders

Icon thumbnail folder

You will need to activate the app and refresh the folders (click options and ‘update folders’) to change the appearance of the folders each time you add new stuff/take them away.

Price: £1

Developer Blurb:

Convert your folders icons to show content of folders just like Meego, Android or even iOS. Known limitation: you have to run this app each time when content of your folders changed and you want update images on the folders.
