Video: Nokia’s Next Hand Model (Nokia N9 Campaign)

| February 24, 2012 | 12 Replies

Go Tyra! Erm…

Here’s a funny video that landed in our tips section – and it’s actually a cool promo for the Nokia N9. I’m not sure where it’s from, I couldn’t find anything about it. There’s no link, nothing appearing in search engine or  twitter :S.

Nokia’s Next Hand Model puts the spot light right in your hands. The search for the hottest hands is on. Do your hands have what it takes to hold the Nokia N9? It’s just like modeling, only different. You could be a hand model without even knowing it. There is no minimum height required to be a hand model, just the right attitude. And of course a hot set of hands. So raise your finger if you think you have the picture-perfect hands to hold the Nokia N9 in our next project. You will be handsomely paid for modeling your hands, and could walk away with a brand new Nokia N9.

Update: This is for Nokia Lebanon:

    • Laborant says:

      -Security Settings -> Developer Mode (installs the Terminal)

      -Open Terminal

      - Type “devel-su” -> Password: rootme

      Tadaa ;)

    • incognito says:

      Carrier lock (i.e. SIM lock) or something else? The software unlock is built-in (Settings > Security > Developer Mode), and even if there is a firmware that stops you from removing carrier customizations you can easily reflash it with generic firmware.

      If you’re talking about SIM lock, that is written within the GSM radio firmware and the procedure is almost the same as with any other phone – either a special USSD code, or reflashing the GSM radio firmware for which you need an unlocked one and probably special equipment – haven’t researched either methods, but try Google. And next time don’t buy carrier locked phones.
