Nokia 808 PureView not coming to North America

More bad news regarding PureView, this time it is the 808. Unfortunately, those living in North America won’t be getting the 808, well, at least according to Nokia’s developer page. As you can see in the screenshot above, the device has a global release, “excluding North America”. This can be taken in two ways, first, 808 isn’t coming at all, so buy it online from another country, or, that this specific version of the 808 won’t be coming, and an LTE might be.

The idea of an LTE 808 doesn’t sound too radical in my opinion. No where is it mentioned about an LTE 808, it is solely my own speculations. But there is nothing suggesting it can’t happen right? We know Nokia has the ability to do it (Lumia 900 LTE) so why not release an 808 with the new antenna technology?

Of course, it is probably just wishful thinking.
