Nokia Lumia PureView not coming until Mid-2013?
Ignore my pathetic effort at making a Lumia PureView :p
The word on the street is that Lumia’s sporting PureView technology unfortunately wont be around for another year, according to WMPU. They have a “reliable source” that has told them PureView will come to Lumia in the form of Gen 2 Apollo devices.
Although it is a shame, I guess it also benefits Nokia from a financial standpoint. If they released a Lumia PureView in July or even at NW in November, the sales of the 808 would drop substantially. Plus, the hype of the 808 would be drowned out by the Lumia and, as much as Nokia is hedging everything on the success of WP, Symbian still has a huge fan base. (As you can tell in the comments section day in and day out.)
