Update for Nokia Lumia 800 available, triples battery life?
Anuj sent in this screenshot saying there’s an update available for the Nokia Lumia 800. I haven’t got this yet but Nokia does stagger their updates to make the process smoother for everyone.
Anyway Hoi followed up with a link to WPCentral where they also mention an update being available – not sure if they are the same update but WPCentral says this improves stanby time and after forcing the update, they managed to triple their battery life! Hmmm…that is all relative. I wonder what their battery life was like before.

I get just over a day with mine, some folks mentioned the same whilst some mentioned worse. The fact that there are updates shows this is an issue Nokia is trying to fix for those affected. Hopefully this rushed first WP will also get a fix for CAF in video.
