My Dream Nokia #47: Nokia Lumia 1000 PureView Slider concept

| March 13, 2012 | 31 Replies

My Dream Nokia #47 is a Lumia/PureView hybrid, with a slide out QWERTY. It looks a tad chubby though you’d expect that given that there’s PureView AND slide out keyboard.

The face is lumia but with white background (matching the white of the border) and the aspect ratio, it looks more like an iPhone no? (Well, that black rectangle with curved corners divided equally by two thin bands at the top and bottom type thing)

  • Intel Atom 1.8GHz Dual Core
  • PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU
  • 4.3@ AMOLED, 1024×768
  • MicroSD slot
  • 64GB internal Storage
  • 41MP PureView camera
  • Secondary VGA camera
  • FM transmitter, USB 3.0 OTG, NFC, Stereo FM radio, TV, etc/
  • Windows 8

About “My Dream Nokia”

I’m sure you’ve dreamt up your PERFECT Nokia device/UI. What it would look like, what it would feel like, what features it would have. Why don’t you share it with the world? Or at least with other Nokia fans :D .

It could be your own photoshopped or rendered work (seriously, you don’t need mega skills in either, basic paint job is often enough to convey a concept) of your dream product.

SEND this in similarly to tips@mynokiablog.com with the title “My Dream Nokia” and perhaps the model number (and a little description, maybe a few specs in the message area? Though this bit not necessary).

Who knows, maybe an image might flutter over to Nokia and through whatever route end up being real.

  1. Kaizer Allen says:

Sweet concept! I’d go without the stickers at the back.

  2. Brasileiro says:

    € 1.000,00

  3. BrianFellOver says:

Nice. Usually I don’t care for most of the far-fetched “dream” Nokia’s, but this one looks a little more achievable and certainly ticks the right boxes for me.

  4. ms.nokia says:

    looks good,
lumia 900 marries 808 purview, give birth to qwerty slide out,
    match made in heaven
    :)

  5. wes? says:

Very nice. A flip mechanism like the E7 and a 720p CBD –> I’ll buy it anyway.

Shouldn’t the stick be on the left side?

  6. Stound says:

The lens would look so much bigger if the body were that thin if it is equal to the one on the 808

  7. Paul says:

Nokia or basically any company will not make all-in phone…ever. If there was “perfect” phone, nobody would buy other phones from that certain company….for like 10 years.

  8. masood.alkhter says:

NOKIA NPHONE. thats wat i want. a proper name.

  9. Thomas F says:

nice phone, just exchange Windows with Harmattan… :-)

  10. Doug says:

    You forgot HDMI.

  11. Rdaro64 says:

    And the browser…

  12. flava says:

Wow that’s some pretty serious render

    Nice concept! Love it!

  13. RJB says:

    This wouldnt work ergonomically.
Landscape qwerty phones need a flat back to sit on a table as all the communicators & N97. On big phones thumb typing only works in portrait.

  14. salvasprock92 says:

Change wp with symbian and meego and I’ll buy it

  15. Bharat Justa says:

Intel HD 4000 graphics will be better than the PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU!

  16. LaW says:

WOW QWERTY with 808 pureview cam and lumia 900 front with windows, DONE would buy instantly, i hope there is a lumia apollo device like this by end of year, even with a hump it will still sell like crazy i believe, and though cost 600+ euros lol

  17. lkl says:

Love some of the concept, but it needs to be 4.7 or larger. Don’t care for the qwerty keyboard either. Everything else is fine.

  18. Ike Ezeogu says:

Nokia please enable all Nokia business phones to have dual sim

  19. Sathish says:

Pls remove the QWERTY Keyboard… its looks ugly and weighs more.. without keyboard it ll b awesome and look nice :)

    Nokia can do that ?

  20. sivhead says:

    nice concept.
For me screen is too small. needs to be bigger at least 4.7 Resolution needs to be minimum 720p. 64gb micro sd support would also benfit, DAB Radio would add some more substance. and dual core even next year would still suffice, battery life is key..Need to drop the qwerty keyboard and joystick and ensure swype works. HDMI connector is also missing

  21. Sadiq khan says:

    Owesome

  22. Paulita says:

Hi, do you know when Will be this Nokia lumia 1000 available for purchase and where?

  23. David says:

that should be a detachable keyboard.
The keyboard should be housing an alternate battery.

i wouldnt mind if the second keyboard is not a physical qwerty, instead a secondary mini display which can be changed to 1.qwerty keypad, 2.xbox joy stick 3.secondary mini display etc with which i can remotely control my handset or xbox paired to my handset ;)
