Lumiappaday #156: Chickens Can’t Fly demoed – XboxLive

| April 19, 2012 | 10 Replies

Hey, this is just a quick demo of a game called ‘Chickens Can’t Fly’. I can’t say I’ve played anywhere near enough to tell you all about the game but it does run very well and looks pretty nice; a polished app as you’d expect from an XboxLive title with a fun and interesting game play. You control the chicken (via tilt) as he falls, catching stars, powerups and avoiding obstacles.

C’mmon where is version for Nokia N9? When you will start publish materials about apps available for Nokia mobiles, not only for Microsoft system devices as currently? Just asking, I don’t care for your crusade promoting Windows, this is not my problem. Just for records: for my best memories seems Jerusalem has failed….? Learn from the great history.

    • Jay Montano says:

Annethe and your crusade to keep crying about the Nokia N9 and creating a million usernames despite me asking you not to:

Perhaps given your passion for the Nokia N9 you can help instead of cry and doing nothing about this and perhaps submit some app demoes?

I have told you before I don’t have time. That’s it. If I find stories about N9 apps from other people, I publish it.

If you don’t care about me talking about Lumia, please stop posting your incessant whinging about the Nokia N9 in lumia posts. Even many other nokia N9 fans have said you are annoying and making them look bad because you just can’t be reasoned with and will continue to try to be inflammatory, turning the N9 into a joke which it does not deserve to be.

BTW here’s your version of this game for the n9

When there is N9 version, why it was not mentioned? Booth ought to be mentioned IMHO.

        • commonUser says:

I am afraid nothing is located at this link Jay, so seems there is nothing? Are you sure of your info?

          • Jay Montano says:

Because there is no N9 version. Can’t you read? http://i.imgur.com/HdSEs.jpg

The picture is a screenshot. You keep asking for N9 versions of the game that don’t exist. Not that I would have time to demo it if it did. Demoing includes recording, processing and uploading which takes a lot of time because I don’t always have time to record, my computer takes a long time to process a video and my internet is too slow to upload (and it kills the internet for everyone else).

If you are so sure about a N9 version, why don’t you link it to us? Why don’t you share your own review?

Why do I have to explain this to you again and again but you will ignore this and pose the same question again under a different username, pretending to be a different character?

Anyway, gtg, have a meeting. If you can help, please find the n9 version and demo it. We’ll publish it.

        Ignore the trolls.

They do this just to make you angry, to get a reply from you ..

.. don’t give it to them.

        • Saul says:

No some of us have asked quite legitimately, & he has explained.

          @Jay

I think you need to “sticky” this somewhere.
So that people get it through their heads.

Also I’ve found Nokia Store search to be terrible lately.
Sometimes the best option is to manually browse through sub-categories.
          Tedious I know…..

I doubt this game is there for the N9 anyway.
It only has a tiny library of top-notch games.
Other categories are better, & thankfully there’s EmuMaster.

          • Jay Montano says:

Yeah you’re right I will have to sticky it.

            - That particular person I’ve tried to explain many times before but they keep ignoring my explanations and prefer to whine and repeat the question under a different username
            - I recorded lumiappaday for tomorrow and since I had a few minutes to spare before my next lecture, instead of having lunch, I decided to also try spotify on the N9 too. I have not put spotify on that before so it was the first time using it – that video will be a little more muddled unfortunately, but it’s either that or nothing.
            - Whether I can get it processed is another thing. Just super, super busy with uni. I’m out all day after lectures (Scrubs pub crawl for the medics) and then busy all day again with uni projects :/ It is hard to maintain blogging let alone recording/processing/uploading/formatting post for review.

I think some think this is what I do full time or this takes seconds to do but, no.

            • Saul says:

              @jay

Thanks for going to the effort of doing that spotify review, even if it’s only basic.
It’s not easy with a very busy life like yours is right now.
Yeah and “stickying” how the reviews are done is needed IMO.

              Cheers.

Great game! One of my favorite Xbox Live titles for Windows Phone. Cool to see developers outside of the big publishers get picked up for Xbox Live too!
