Nokia Lumia 710 unboxing (by Nokia Lumia 710)

Here’s another unboxing of the Nokia Lumia 710 from the UK but this one is from Carphone Warehouse. You can see that it actually has the original Nokia packaging as opposed to the random red box from Vodafone (which some informed me might have been a return unit – plus the phone seemed to have already been used anyway).

My sister took these photos, using the first Lumia 710 (I was already back in Manchester when these first arrived).  It was late in the afternoon, indoors so poor lighting (and the watermarker makes the pictures worse), taken in Auto (not macro). BTW, when I do unboxing photos, they’re almost always now taken with a DSLR in at least optimum lighting. I’d say the 710 would have done a better job than my 800 (though the one I use seems to be faulty compared to the batman lumia :/)

As we saw last time, the prices are still on that very low £129.95 on some networks. It is still more expensive to buy from the network directly.

BTW, the Lumia from Carphone Warehouse is unlocked, you can pick up from there and put any SIM in afterwards – no unlocking fee necessary. I have no affinity with CPW, frankly I actually don’t like them or their delivery service that say they attempt to deliver when they haven’t but that’s another story.  If they tell you they might be out of stock, that might simply be to give them extra delivery days (as opposed to their advertised ‘Next Day delivery’.

I have a couple more unboxings (recorded yesterday) that I’ll be publishing some time today. Both Monsters.
