Nokia 808 PureView passes ANATEL certification process

Apparently the Nokia 808 PureView has passed the ANATEL certification process. There are documents that could potentially be checked out if you can actually open the site, but it keeps doing a silly pop up and nothing will load for me.

It was rather infuriating, quite reminiscent of those prank websites where the damn pop up would keep appearing over and over and over no matter how many damn times you clicked it. Shame as there seems to be a manual there.

As a follow up, someone who did manage to open that site added:

It seems that the Nokia 808 Pure View will be manufactured in the following factories, according to the Anatel document found on the website I’ve indicated above:

Besides Nokia Mobile Phones – In Joensuunkatu 7 FIN-24100 – Salo, Finland, the document says it will be assembled in the following factories:

BRAZIL =>
a) Nokia do Brasil Tecnologia Ltda. – Localização: Av. Torquato Tapajós, Km 12. nº 7200 – Colônia Terra Nova– Manaus –
AM – CNPJ: 02.140.198/0001-34

CHINA =>
b) Nokia Telecomunications Ltd. – BDA Building 1, nº5 DongHuan Zhong Road – Beijing Economic & Technological
Development Area, CN-100176 Beijing – China.

CHINA =>
c) Nokia Telecomunications Ltd. – Keji Road Nancheng High-Tech Industrial Park, CN-523129 – Dongguan – China.

Hope it will be made in huge numbers and consumers will demand the 808.

Cheers Recruta for the tip.
