You might want to get the hard case (for example, because of its lens protector). Then, possible staining won’t be a problem either as it fully covers the back of the phone.
I wouldn’t worry about that article….
It wasn’t correct in asserting that it’s more prone to staining.
It’s more to do with how well it holds it color LT.
But the differences are pretty negligible.
It mainly comes down to what you like the look of more; matte or glossy.
If you’re set on 808 you dont have that choice, so get the matte

I’ve been trying to decide between the L900 and the N808, but now I know that I’ll go with the PureView. The only problem now is to decide the colour…
