Nokia Lumia 900 launched in China with Han Geng (808 also making appearance?)
The Nokia Lumia 900 seems to have been launched in China, right at the very end of Q2.
As to what network it will be available on, I couldn’t find this info from the sources.
This was launched by someone called Han Geng. Wikipedia says he is a “Chinese Mandopop singer and actor well known for his powerful dance skills” and is a member of a South Korean boyband ‘Super-Junior’ or something like that.
There’s certainly stylings going on there of SK Boyband. I wouldn’t recognise the name or the face but clearly they have a huge following. Enough to pull crowds like this (and constantly appear on YouTube’s most viewed when they come up with a song or a trailer of a song…even if you set the language filter in YouTube to English :/). I’ve even seen some of their influences here in UK, well in local Sushi bars. I’m not quite sure if it’s the same band but the same SK Pop.
According to WPDang (well the translation anyway) the 808′s 41MP made an appearance too.
In addition, listed earlier with 41 million pixel camera of the Nokia 808 in today’s activities at the scene appeared, cheering flag-waver for the activities.

still waiting windows phone for Turkey..
Nokia announced earlier to make 808 available from june starting with India and Russia. Now I am getting to know about the availability of 808 in different countries and it’s still not available in India or Russia. Do someone need to remind them about their announcements or it’s their new policy to speak something and do something else..!!!

Anyway, this is an acid test for Nokia. If this doesn’t maintain the momentum that the 900 has created in the US then it could be tough times ahead.
And in the meanwhile 3 interesting partners are working with N company on something interesting. And you will be surprised. And you will never gues what is this. Keep trying., this you can do.
Tablet?
My guess is a toilet paper retailer opening times app for Lumia, coming out in 2015.
let me guess … hmmm it’s not about the “3rd ecosystem”, or hhmm not about “sustainability”… hmmm certainly not about “live on”, oh ok got it, must be about wp8 being the best choice for Nokia.
I just saw the Lumia 900 sold at the Nokia stores in my hometown (Malaysia). Only black is available. From what I’ve read from the local mobile blogs, the phone isn’t supposed to be released until this Friday. No idea why they broke the street date.
By the way, nice launch party. Wonder if we’ll have one…
Just to update: No launch party. Just a media preview event on the 12th (which is Tuesday).
I can’t believe black is still the only colour available at my hometown after that event.
judging by the 1st photo I think Nokia has found the perfect way to sell lots of the 900
