Nokia Lumia 900

Windowsteca have done it again, this time bringing us a 30min video review of the Nokia Lumia 900. Like their video of the Lumia 610, it is in Italian and is accompanied with a lengthy write-up. They have also included some sample images.

The general gist of if it as follows;

  • very nice smartphone design
  • device demonstrates that Nokia is capable of making excellent products
  • form factor is identical to that of Lumia 800, its dimensions make it more generous, in our opinion, much more pleasant and functional.
  • not only aesthetically pleasing but also very responsive
  • camera is of very good quality, although some close-up shots (macro) and other circumstances, has seen some discrepancy
  • an excellent smartphone that we recommend to all those who need high performance

    It seems that Lumia has been accepted quite well in Italy.

    The camera isn’t that great. The macro shots look horrible.
    Hope there will be a Lumia with a much better camera soon.

      Lumia PV ;)

      That and hopefully the promised camera update wil fix the issues plaguing the current Lumia 800 and 900.

      As for the bad macro shots, the problem seem to lie in the reticule because it still lock even though the image is out of focus. The only way is to take those pictures a bit further away and with a little bit of trial and error, you’ll get decent pictures. I just wished it shows a red reticule if you’re too close, just like what my 6700 Slide did in that scenario.
