Nokia 808 PureView vs Canon EOS 5D Mk III vs Olumpus PEN E-PL2

Here’s another comparison with the Nokia 808 PureView against some big guns again, the behemoth Canon EOS 5D Mk III, the non nonsense Olympus PEN E-PL2 and because it’s always compared to everything an iPhone (4S).

Yup, just more evidence to how amazing PureView is. I guess the purpose of the iPhone being there is for folks who think it’s great to realise that, well if that’s great then the 808 is ridiculously, magically, phenomenal.

As GSM Arena notes, in bright lighting the 808 in full resolution is a killer (or words to that effect). Those bigger sensor DSLRs are able to show more prowess in lower lighting. Then you switch to PureView mode which makes it still a great challenger to compacts.

Point is though, as GSM Arena points out:

 the fact that it’s able to match such elite competition in any environment is a huge achievement on its own.
