Collection: Nokia 808 PureView, Fireworks (Rich Recording test)

Here’s a video of some FireWorks recorded by a Nokia 808 PureView. It absolutely excels in this scene. Low light, quick to manage exposures, brilliant accurate colours, PureView zooming, stellar rich recording and all in a small package that’s easy to hold and have with you at all times because it’s also your phone! These guys are super lucky to have a 808 PureView to record with.

The last video shows off some drum playing.

I thought it looked nice to mash the two with YouTube doubler – FireWorks and music celebrations.

Actually whilst looking for 808 fireworks video there are plenty that have their own music and look great on their own.

Fireworks show…

Holy crap, I put the sound up all the way on my headphones and it felt like the fireworks were exploding around me.

This one is nice and long. 20 minutes of fireworks, rich recording and zooming.

For a bit of comparison on just how good this actually is, here’s a random BlackBerry:

My ears hurt.

HTC OneX

Lumia 710

This surprised me. Not bad. No 808 though.
