Beta Labs: City Lens also in Marketplace
Seems like a few beta labs apps are graduating today. Here we have City lens graduating, and appearing in Marketplace.
Hi All,
City Lens for Windows Phone has graduated to commercial! Thanks to everyone who participated in this trial and left feedback. Your opinions are important to us – we do read all of your suggestions and implement where possible. You are essential to improving Nokia City Lens and we are very appreciative. You can scan the QR code below with your phone to install it from Marketplace.
Stay tuned for another beta release in the upcoming weeks!
All the best,
Nokia City Lens Team
It is a bit annoying when there are beta labs apps for other platforms (Symbian, MeeGo, S40) that are not getting the same level of support, but it isn’t like we don’t expect that.
If you like using City Lens, go download it now!

and it’s really frustrating that the city lens for symbian suddenly stopped working after the “belle refresh” sigh
This is certainly because of a change in Software library which is now incompatible with some old API.
another app had problem (FidMe) but they succeed to correct it. this is certainly not a hard work to do (maybe 2 hours, maximum one day) no one there at Nokia have the rights to do that work…
The problem is that a lot of people has pay for this exclusive 808 PV !
I want city lens for my 808.
And for the 808 PV that cost a lot ?
nothing, it’s really sad because i’ve test citylens during months with a N8, and it’s a really cool app.
Horus is not working either after the “Refresh” update.
Downloaded it and working flawlessly on my Nokia lumia 800 Indian edition .
I had this app on my n8 .
The app was ok but certainly not a phone seller, unless they can capture the same people who think siri and facetime are amazing.
Every time I see the halifax home finder app advertised on tv it reminds me of city lens.
I would like to see it updated for symbian, But only as respect from nokia to its existing loyal symbian customers. After all these people are more likely to be future windows phone customers than someone from apple imo.
well said.
