why no hd screen? it is the only thing missing to make it perfect

      Hopefully priced lowish.

wpcentral reports that the 920 will come at around 600 euros unlocked and the 820 with 450 euros unlocked. availability in select markets in europe from mid october.
but with the 820 priced at 450 euros i still believe it could have a hd screen. too much money for a wvga screen in 2012-2013 sale year.and considering the other mid range devices from the competitors with android have either qhd resolution or hd screen it kinda sucks.man and i really waited for this phone. it would have been my first new nokia in a couple of years

  2. Sal says:

Verizon really needs to release the 920 too

I agree, if they don’t it would be a far cry from what they hinted when they boldly said they “will make Windows Phone the same way they made Android”. I believe we we’ll see a flagship on Verizon soon. Either a 920 variant or mabye even something beyond that which they are working with Nokia on now.

The only real concern about this and the 820 is the battery life. The lumia900 is barely average with the same screen size and one less core and a bigger battery

    • Muerte says:

Yes, why is it so hard for Nokia to put bigger batteries in these devices? Samsung ATIV has a bigger battery than even 920, and it is thinner and lighter. Why?

      • viktor von d. says:

the camera part takes a lot of space because of the mechanical stabilization parts and wireless charging. that is why the back is curved and thicker in the middle

Maybe Nokia should start naming their Lumias instead of just using the numbers..

    Lumia Photon
    Lumia Gaze
    Lumia Voyance
    etc :P
