InfoGraphic- Lumia 920 Features Summed up, Time to #Switch

| October 4, 2012 | 13 Replies

Infographics are great, they supply you with a list of details in a fun and enjoyable manner. Nokia UK’s Facebook page just posted the image above which nicely sums up the Lumia 920s greatness (I really want a video which is no more than 2 minutes long completely covering all the features being demoed- it’s a must have tool when trying to convert people). However I feel the dig towards the iPhone was unnessecary, simply say “Other Smartphones don’t”- especially when the lack of glove usage isn’t iPhone exclusive.

Made sense until the Apple death thingy. Apple has more money than the US government at this point, Nokia is selling their headquarters.

People would be more supportive if Nokia was identifying itself with the underdog role instead of pretending they have a shot at Apple, they really don’t, even Samsung can’t touch them.

heee i think it was reference to battery life time :)

Underdogs must challenge and attack. That’s what Nokia is doing, and when the competition is weak, then you attack. Even if Apple is selling iPhone5′s very well, they are a bit vulnerable at this moment, their shield is not up 100%, because there has not been real innovation in iPhones for 2 years.

the infographic is not complete. the nokia lumia 920 camera is far superior particularly in low light and video. the nokia lumia 920 is superior with dolby sound. the nokia 920 is superior with maps including turn by turn voice instructions and nokia city lens augmented reality.

It makes sense to compare a windows phone with the iphone, since that’s the only plattform that wp can compete with.
The only thing that wp doesn’t have yet, compared to the iphone is the ecosystem that Elop is always talking about.
Will be interesting to see if this will change with wp8 and some real apps (current apps for wp are more like the widgets that the Opera browser once had)

cause they are both closed OS with the same setup but like always one is on a million different devices sucking like a pile of shit for the general user to get pissed off at and break easily….i know

Android is the most logical choice for Symbian/MeeGo users to switch!

    • poiman says:

No it’s not. I currently have a Symbian phone and I would never switch to such a messy OS like Android. I like the HTC One X+ but I won’t buy it just because of Android.

      • Patata says:

But feature wise it is, since iOS and Wp lack so many things Symbian user got used with over time. No accessible filesystem? No picture upload to any site you want? No choice between different browsers (not just skins)? No other apps than all those apped webpages?
