Weekend Watch: The Black Keys – Little black Submarines – Live – Lyon – Nokia 808 PureView
Whilst the Nokia Lumia 920 with its optical image stabilisation and (mono) rich recording looked and sounded great for gigs, (vs HTCopypasta’s ear bleeding filth) the untouchable is definitely still the Nokia 808 PureView.
If you can hold your hand steady enough, that zoom is just superb! Moreover, you have some stereo audio goodness, though we have already been told in comments that it’s less noticable in surroundings such as this.

saw them last week in portugal, they’re awesome eheh [and of course, the 808 does a terrific job]
Btw, I live here in Portugal too and yesterday the Nokia Portugal website, in the all products tab/ section, putted the 920 and the 820 for the first time!
Is this saying they will be here soon? *.*
it’s definitely coming, the only question is when. and i bet it’ll come with a huge price tag, as it’s being standard in portugal -.-

Why cant nokia bring an 808 to wp? Geez i would buy this immediatly
btw does anyone know whats nokia doing for CES and MWC next year? Isnt that just around the corner.

Cannot bring the 808 pureview to WP8 yet technically.
Unless Nokia makes some alternative stuff. Means that you will not be getting the same thing, maybe compromises that give similar results.

A 41mp camera with rich recording, not a smartphone but the camera ,video and recording. The Pureview. Great cameras on smartphones take too much of a beating.
Hm ? Works perfectly on the 808, which is a proper smartphone.
