Video: How to Remove Back Cover and Insert Sim into Lumia
So earlier today I got my hands on the Lumia 620 (attractive little bugger); more on that soon (once my video finishes uploading); but long story short I spent about 2 minutes on camera trying to figure out how to insert the SIM and remove the back cover. So here’s a quick how to tutorial that might help you guys avoid the embarrassment I went through of having to actually read the users manual.
Basically the micro Sim slot is hidden in a pull out tray under the Micro SD port; the reason I missed this (and other probably will too) is because when you open the phone the tray isn’t securely fixed into place (since there is no battery there); so while unboxing I didn’t notice where the tray had slid out from.

Read instructions? Please, we never admit to something like that. Your videos help.
I managed to come across an official video which demonstrate how to insert the SIM card into the 620. It’s titled, ‘Nokia Lumia 620: Getting Started’ and here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbWx7oXeEV4&list=PLxkVGmejt-iQ07PQnCq0SuA-z-o_M9XLE&index=1.
Just wished that I did the same when my sister got her 900. Had a lot of trouble trying to remove the SIM tray as I have never handled an iPhone before because I didn’t know that you have to apply pressure when inserting the pin into its hole. Luckily I remembered to do that when I got the 920 and it went without a hassle.
FAIL..NOKIA…it shouldn’t be that hard to make a proper SIM slot..they should have kept the spring loaded SIM slots just like on the N8 and E7
I find that tray placement and that there is a tray to be a great idea. Space saving and out of the way.
And that Green. Damn that Green is is Awesome!!
