@WindowsPhone gently reminds all that WP8 is upgradable now it’s on the Windows Core

Upgradable to what? 🙂

Although we’ve been skeptical ourselves of recent MS activity, @WindowsPhone wants to remind those doubtful (and rightly so) that WP8 is definitely indeed upgradeable. Not simply small updates but major changes.

Whilst support may end for a particular ‘version’ of WP8 (8.0) when it updates, (8.1, 8.5, 9.0, blue) that support cycle resets (though we can’t always guarantee that your network will push the update).

As we’ve said, one benefit of moving to the Windows core is that Windows Phone 8 is upgradeable.

And as we ourselves have said before, although you might expect it to be obvious, what with MS’s track history, it’s nicer to have things like this spelt out (and said again and again).
