Microsoft Working on Upgraded Voice Recognition, With “Streaming Detection”

WP already has voice recognition in its “tell me” service, which you can access by holding down the Home button, or through the Bing Search. The video below demonstrates further upgrades and enhancements to the service, including a “streaming” service which detects, and searches for the words while you’re still speaking (no “thinking…” lag).

What I really want is offline voice dictation EVERYWHERE, not just when composing a message; so hopefully that’ll arrive soon.

Thanks for the tip Alvester.
