Remember the other day, Ali Published a video of a musician called Dawn Richard switching to Lumia 920?

Mark Guim noticed that Dawn’s PR people must have forgotten and continued tweeting using an iPhone (via Instagram apparently).

Dawn’s promo people had a little excess attitude and replied in an arsey kind of way:

“It’s called people have more than one phone”

You what?

I guess on the one hand, it is ok for people to use more than one phone. Alicia Keys (Brand Ambassador for BlackBerry) apparently still uses an iPhone and Jessica Alba still posts on instagram (since there’s no choice as it’s not on Lumia yet).

It’s not the first time this has happened to a particular brand, especially not Nokia. How should they deal with this? Perhaps instead of giving the star a Lumia they could give their entourage/social media peeps one each too.  It’s all in the detail. At least they’ll always be seen with Lumias when in public. The only time they’d have to use an alternative device is really to get in touch with their Instagram audience (heck, MS/Nokia/Facebook, hurry up on this front please).

When you have people promoting your product and talking about your product, it would be great to see at least them USING your product whilst on that particular social media outlet.

Props on the yellow combo.
