Whatsapp for WP gets new background agent and more

Nokia’s been working with whatsapp quite closely to bring all sorts of improved user experiences. The technicalities of this might not matter to most but Whatsapp is getting a new background agent. Previously, Whatsapp had been using the music API so when in use, it would leave a blank ‘streaming’ song.
The background agent now reportedly works like every other app for WP.
There’s also:
- larger image support to make them easier to view in line
- notification fixes
- faster resume
- new smilies
