Lumia 928 Possibly Launching May 7th at a Verizon Event in NYC (Updated)

Update-Apparently the launch party on May 7th is for the Blackberry Z10, it’s doubtful we’ll see the 928 being released in the same event. 

All signs are pointing to a very close launch for the Verizon destined Lumia 928; the latest of which the premature billboard that appeared proclaiming superior low-light performance. The latest bit of information to add to the rumor bin is a potential launch date set for May 7th in NYC; this comes courtesy of a Verizon endorsed tech blogger who noted that she’ll be attending a Verizon launch in NYC on May 7th:

I will also be attending a launch event on May 7th that Verizon is hosting in NYC. So I’ll be coming back soon to share with you some pictures from the event and more things I may have learned. Because always with new tech, you are learning something new.

So unless Verizon plan on launching two hero phones within a week of each other I think it’s pretty safe to assume that the 928 will finally be unveiled on the 7th.
