LeakyLeak: Back of the Nokia EOS/Elvis/Lumia 1020 for AT&T #41MP

| July 4, 2013 | 25 Replies

Screen Shot 2013-07-04 at 14.52.55Here’s the back of the Nokia EOS/Lumia 1020. You’ve seen it a few times but here’s what looks more like a press pic.

Note the large circle for the huge camera sensor. Nice Xenon Flash present with an LED (probably for focus and video lighting). 41MP noted.

Also notice the two pins (not three? huh) for wireless charging at the bottom.

I like da feeling, looks like a moon eclipse.

I think it will be slimmer than 920 except for the camera hump. It would be great if they make it same thickness as 920 at the camera hump.

    Ok. Ok.

Would probably be my next if the Lumia 925 hadn’t been presented to the world :)

whatever the design i don’t care.. if it is gonna rock a 41MP sensor , i”m tottaly in.. :D

    • Tomi

A proud owner of the 808. The camera is excellent and I bet this one will even better. Maybe a lot better…

ok.. i’m a nokia fan since they introduce n95.. i had a dream of owning an N-series phone. and days goes on.. and then after couple of years, they introduced N8, i bought that ..and i still have it.. and i’m optimistic that my next phone would be EOS only if its gonna rock the 41MP sensor :D

When Nokia announced the 808 PureView, I watched the event live and said to myself: “Boy that 41 MP camera is awesome. Too bad it has Symbian. I’m so totally gonna get that when it comes with Windows Phone!” And now 17 months later I have to get ready to spend some cash on this bad boy. Finally :D

The phone looks awesome and we know it’s gonna be awesome with it’s performance. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom better watch out! :P

    • milojko

so you missed 17 months of taking fantastic pictures of your memories just to not have the phone with OS that is named Symbian?! Interesting indeed.

      • Mendax

I know it may sound silly, but this is exactly why I picked the N9 over the 808 after having used an N8. The mediocre N9 camera was the only setback for me, but Harmattan was such a breath of fresh air after Symbian^3.

by the end of the year this shall be mine… pair it with its papa (808)

everybody is talking about the gs4 zoom, but my main concern is the sony i1.It has everything, for the ppl liking,1)everybody beloved OS android.2)the quadcores and bullshit,
    3)THE CAMERA,ITS MAIN SELLING POINT,

OF TOPIC-I really wanted nokia to name this sweetheart the NOKIA LUMIA PUREVIEW,(LUMIA FOR WINDOWS,PUREVIEW FOR 808 SENSOR.)

  • I.doubt

Because of one missing connector for charging covers I highly doubt this is real.

    • virobloc

My guess is that it has wireless charging and the dots are for the grip accessory. Hence the different pattern.

  • prashant

    41 mp…………….yippee

  • Ujwal Soni

If they manage to combine the 41 MP sensor with OIS..well..’nuff said

  • MKnowles

I will say this though; the design on this is SCREAMING for some rounded corners.

  • twig

Looks like a Stealth Bomber really to blow the competition away. This needs to be in the next James Bond movie.

  • xconomicron

It’s kind of interesting, I’m over here on this site reading the comments and generally this phone looks like it’s more “accepting” over here than on other sites. Is this just because we are Nokia fans and already know how the 808 looks and captures photos? I don’t understand how people think that this phone can pass the laws of physics and have a drastically lesser protrusion?
