More Lumia 1020 leaks in White, Yellow and Black; OIS Confirmed? (Update: Fake?)

EOSHere’s another Lumia 1020 render courtesy of WPC, the phone is shown off in 3 colors (without the red shell we saw before?). According to WPC the phone also pacs some improved specs including 2Gbs of ram (rather than the 1Gb in the current high end WP lineup) and OIS.

  • It has optical image stabilization (OIS) built in
  • It takes the image in a 32MP and 5MP at the same time in 16:9
  • The 5MP image is over sampled dropping 7pixels into one “super pixel”
  • It shoots 38MP in 4:3
  • “Nokia 909” was an early name for it but it will be “Lumia 1020” for release
  • 2GB of RAM, an increase of 1GB from other high end Windows Phone 8 devices
  • 32GB of internal storage, no SD
  • WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
  • FM radio (Amber)
  • Flip to silence (Amber)

Also some details have been shed upon the accompanying Nokia Pro Camera app which we understand brings greater flexibility to a phone’s settings in a touch friendly UI; including the options to adjust:

  • ISO
  • White Balance
  • Manual focus
  • Shutter speed
  • Flash

So are you guys as excited as we are? only 4 more days!

Update:

Something is certainly fishy about these renders, as some of you have pointed out, first of all there’s the fact that the camera lens says “Carl Zeiss” instead of Zeiss; which as you know became the official name a week or so ago. The other thing that makes me believe that the image above is a FAKE is the fact that it is running the same exact start screen as the Lumia 920’s press shot images (albeit a lower quality one), coincidence?

The reason I find this strange is that Nokia always customize the start screen to display the latest apps and features that come with the phone, the Lumia 920 as seen above showed off smart shoot, creative studio and city lens. The 720 and 520 showed the newly branded “here” maps rather than “Nokia maps”, and the 925 showed off the Nokia smart cam, so where is the Nokia Pro cam that we saw in the previous press renders?

A faked render doesn’t mean much at this point since we already know how the device is going to look, but ti does cast some doubts on the credibility of the source in terms of the accompanied rumored specs. For example this is the first we’ve heard of the 2Gbs of ram and the confirmation of a lack of Micro SD card; all I’m saying is don’t be too quick to believe.
