Kantar’s results are a bit of a mixed bag for WP. Surprisingly, thinking about how it started, UK and France have taken to WP quite well with a 91.1% and 291.3% growth from last year to 8.6% and 9.0% market share. EU5, US, Mexico and Australia all saw a rise year on year but Germany, Italy and Spain have not and show a decline.

Rafe says that with BB continuing to fall, even as a small player, WP has secured third place. We hope that the introduction of the 925, 928, and the 1020 may drive further growth; themselves or as halo devices to increase the image of the platform. No doubt, the likes of the 520, 620 and the new 625 can help push volume with excellent value for money.

With Italy, Rafe mentions in the comments that he thinks this maybe due to an initial push from the operator for WP7.5 but that support might not be on the same level now.
