Talk.maemo.org is alive and well and discussing the latest project that involves ressurecting and improving the Nokia N900.

The aim is to make it look and feel like the N900 but will have 1GHz/512MB RAM under the hood, 3.5G or 4G LTE support as well as a USB that won’t fall off! (N900 user will know what we’re talking about here :p)

The original post was from August (thread very much alive and kicking over 85 pages).

The Nokia N900 has a special place in the hearts of Nokia fans, so it’s no surprise to see this much support for that little beast that showed so much promise and potential for Nokia in the touch UI world. Oh Maemo.

Cheers Santeri Hiitola for the tip!
