Whilt we may have seen videos showing the Nokia Lumia 1520 beasting others in sunlight readability, you may not be aware of how it’s doing it. The Nokia Lumia 1520 features something called Assertive Display Technology whereby on a pixel by pixel basis, the pixels will alter to improve the visibility in different lighting conditions, particularly useful in bright sunlight. This means that you can still see the screen, whether a camera viewfinder or browser which has a high range between dark and light images clearly.

It’s this kind of technology that you don’t hear touted about but the kind you really do appreciate when you don’t have to cover your phone’s screen when you’re outdoors to see it.

This, along with high brightness, reduced reflection, Clear Black Display and high quality IPS-LCD gives the 1520 one of the best displays on the market. It’s all about these technologies coming together on a Nokia to provide that cohesive innovative experience.
