It was only July when the Nokia Lumia 1020 was announced but Nokia may be set on announcing a new imaging flagship already. Why not? Keep on improving whilst others are still catching up to Nokia’s cameras from 2 years ago.

Other interesting things include 3D touch with ‘goldfinger’  and a Siri-like assistant (cortana or better?). 3D touch? Air gestures or pressure gestures?

Cheers Alvester for the tip!

Oh more info on the 3D touch at TheVerge. Tom Warren says

  • WP8.1 will take Nokia’s Glance further
  • 3D touch, hand gestures above and to the side of the device
  • Scrolling and flipping without touching the screen

Hopefully better implementation that Sammy’s air gestures. Every SGSIV owner I’ve asked turns all those off (including eye scroll).

Now MS knows air gestures quite well. Kinect is an excellent visual and voice system, which over time with Kinect II is said to be even better.
