Windows Phone 8.1 to Include “Mute Conversations” Option in Messaging Hub

8.1One feature we’ve already heard of regarding the messaging hub in WP 8.1 is the ability to change the default messaging option; however another much awaited feature is also included. The ability to mute a specific conversation/thread, meaning that you’ll still receive texts but won’t get any annoying notifications or prompts from that someone that just won’t leave you alone. When a conversation is muted you’ll stop receiving toast notifications and live tile updates as well.

SMS_Mute_ScreensThis is just one new feature in a very very long list of coming changes, but it just makes the wait so much harder to bear.
