Strategy Analytics forecasts 16M Nokia X Android phones to ship for 2014

Strategy Analytics are expecting about 16M in sales of the Nokia X range.
Perhaps some will look at this with a jaded point of view remembering the “analyst ” expectations of Windows Phone when it was first partnered with Nokia. But this might be different in that the Nokia X family are entry level handsets with Android. Much in the way that Nokia’s Lumia 520 and 52x range have become the best selling smartphone in that entry price range for Nokia, perhaps this offering can propel some much needed sales too.
