Microsoft’s next big acquisition seems to be in the way of getting Minecraft through purchasing Mojang – a Swedish independent video game developer for 2 billion dollars.

Minecraft is now the third best selling game after Tetris and WiiSports

Notch, creator of Minecraft, is noted to have claimed turning down that amount of money (in reference at the time to anger at facebook’s purchase at Oculus for 2 billion, thus cancelling Minecraft for Oculus Rift)

Well that’s one way of getting the official Minecraft onto Windows Phone. Whether it’ll be special on Windows platforms is yet to be seen. e.g. Skype. It’s awesome on WP right? No? Oh yeah, that’s right, it isn’t.
