Microsoft branded phone? Surface Phone? Lumia 1030?

When we were told of the name “Nokia” being phased out of Lumia, as hesitant as we were it may be good for being more memorable. Shorter name; flows off the tongue better.
What’s with this ugly branding of Microsoft on the face of the phone?
Yes, the bezel itself is slim but that could just be the glass bit. There’s usually more plastic around.
Let’s hope Microsoft doesn’t push having their name mentioned and either continues to just mention Lumia, or perhaps start all new with “Surface Phone”.
